Video cleaning has a specific scope
The video AI label remover clears recognized C2PA and Adobe XMP UUID boxes, XMP_ boxes, user-data (udta), metadata (meta), and supported software-information boxes. It traverses known movie and track containers. The same video treatment applies in both image setting modes.
It does not erase every piece of information a video might carry. Track timestamps, timed metadata inside media streams, unrecognized UUID boxes and information outside the supported containers can remain. Treat this as container metadata cleanup, not comprehensive video anonymization.
Why the video size may stay the same
Video files contain indexes pointing to byte positions in their media data. Simply deleting a box can move the media and break those indexes. The cleaner replaces supported metadata boxes with empty free boxes of exactly the same size.
Your output can therefore have the same size as the original even though the recognized metadata payload has been zeroed. The encoded media hash is compared separately; a smaller download is not the success criterion.
A practical video export checklist
- Export a complete MP4 or MOV of up to 100 MB. Browser playback depends on the codecs used by the original file.
- Inspect the video and review any retained-box warnings. A partial media segment without movie information is not supported.
- Clean and download the copy. Open it in your usual video player and check the audio and duration before publishing.
- Inspect any separate cover image using the main image tool. Further editing or re-exporting can add metadata again.
Common questions
Will this change video resolution or bitrate?
No re-encoding is performed. The original media payload is kept, and its SHA-256 hash is compared before and after cleaning.
Can it remove an AI label already shown on TikTok?
No. A local file editor cannot change a published post or its platform-controlled label.
Why is my video unsupported?
The tool accepts supported MP4/MOV containers with a complete movie box and media data. WebM, MKV, HEIC, AVIF, incomplete downloads and some specialized containers are not supported.
