TikTok can label content from several sources

TikTok’s official announcement describes automatic labeling using Content Credentials and labels associated with its AI effects. It also describes creator disclosure for realistic AI content. Removing an embedded record is not equivalent to switching off those other mechanisms.

A label on an existing post is controlled by TikTok. Use the post’s information and current support options to understand it. This website does not sign in to TikTok, alter disclosure settings or edit published videos.

Inspect an MP4 or MOV before sharing

  1. Export a complete video from your editor and retain a master copy. The tool accepts up to 100 MB per file.
  2. Use the video AI label remover and open the inspection details. Read any warning about unrecognized boxes.
  3. Clean the supported metadata containers. The tool keeps media positions unchanged and verifies the encoded media hash.
  4. Download and play the result with audio before sharing. If you add a separate cover image, inspect that image too.

What cleaning a video does not do

Video cleanup does not remove visible captions, logos, pixel watermarks or information encoded inside the footage. It also leaves some container information, including track timestamps and unsupported metadata, intact. The detailed scope is available in How it works.

An output file that is the same size as the input is expected: metadata is replaced with empty boxes to protect video indexes. Judge the result by the inspection report, successful playback and matching media hashes, rather than file size alone.

Common questions

Can I disable TikTok’s automatic label with this tool?

No. The tool only edits supported local file metadata. TikTok can apply labels for reasons outside those containers.

Does this work for CapCut exports?

It can process a CapCut export if that file is a supported MP4/MOV. It does not promise removal of every vendor-specific field or any visible CapCut watermark.

Do I still need to disclose AI content?

Follow TikTok’s current disclosure requirements. Removing file metadata does not change how the content was created.
